Discover Mills Remodel & Parking Deck

Project Summary:
The Discover Mills - Remodel & Parking Deck project comprises three parts:

1. Pad Preparation & Building Build-out
Approximate 8,000 SF of existing base building and 65,000 SF of existing parking area, including underground utilities, will be demolished to accommodate the new

AMC Theatre. Approximate 9,200 CY fill material will be imported for theater building pad. New construction consists of approximate 17,500 SF new steel structure

and interior / exterior walls at Base Building area (Shell Only).

2. Entry Road #3
Entry Road #3 will provide the access from Sugarloaf Parkway to the Discover Mills Mall outer ring road. The work consists of grading and infrastructure work (storm

sewer, roads, traffic signal, etc.) for a new private road (500 LF) and associated median work on Sugarloaf Parkway.

3. Parking Deck
The Parking Deck is a precast structure with one slab on grade and two elevated decks. The total square footage of the deck is approximately 250,000 and 795 parking spaces will be provided. The works consists of site demo, precast erection, and underground utility work. Beck will be providing Design / Build services for the Parking Deck.

Project Specific Information:
Discover Mills Mall is a 1,400,000 sf, super-regional, shopping mall and entertainment complex located on a 190-acre site with parking for 6,000 cars. Beck was the

General Contractor for the site, base building and anchor stores.

The proposed AMC 18 will be located near Jillian's. A three-level parking deck will be built at the southeast corner of the site to satisfy increased traffic associated with

the new theater.
